The company’s Chairman and Managing Director, Daniel Mullen, sadly passed away on 24th January 2015. The business will remain Steadfast in the mould of Daniel. SRL will continue with Daniel’s core values and remain competitive. We will offer continued quality and service to all our customers and maintain excellent relationships with suppliers.

Steadfast Roofing Limited has completed one of Europe’s largest new roof tiling contracts, on time and on budget. The £2.25 Million value job involved laying approx. 1.5 million concrete roof tiles and dry fittings to 625 lodges constructed by ISG Construction for the new Center Parcs Woburn site. This contract was carried out in dense woodland accessed via sand tracked roads and involved the supply and distribution of thousands of tons of materials. We supplied all specialist plant and distribution vehicles.

Extending our coverage into East Anglia, Steadfast Roofing (S&E) Limited is established. Based in Colchester this branch has been created to cover Suffolk, Essex and East London.

Advances in technology have led to Moser Bear Photovoltaic yielding higher output per panel. Steadfast are keeping pace with the advancements in technology and now offer the improved panels as part of the over roof system.

We have installed seven Solar PV units for SDC on a housing development on Broughton Road, Croft. Once the buildings become live Steadfast will go back and commission the system qualifying it for the FIT.
Steadfast Roofing Limited are now MCS accredited.
This means we are now approved to design, supply and install Solar PV panels and tiles.
Under the new Microgeneration Certification Scheme we are able to install a range of Solar PV tiles and panels that qualify for the Governments FIT (Feed In Tariff) where the homeowner is paid a higher than usual rate for the electricity they produce.
This is why we now have a new service, offering clients a one-stop service, from design to installing the last electrical component Steadfast Roofing Ltd can now do it.

Steadfast Roofing Limited Install the UK's First Redland PV Solar system to Office roof. We are now able to generate electricity from our roof to power our office.

Steadfast Roofing Limited are awarded Occupational Health and Safety Management System OHSAS18001:2007 and Quality management System ISO 9001:2008. Steadfast Roofing Limited continues to improve in accordance with the regulations on occupational health and safety and quality management systems.

Industry First For Steadfast Roofing with Second BSI Certificate of Registration.
Steadfast Roofing Limited, the Bedfordshire-based specialist roofing contractor, has become one of the first British roofing companies to achieve two BSI Kitemarks for quality, health and safety.
The companies 2007 BSI award for Occupational Health & Safety Management (BS EN ISO 9001:2000). A rare achievement in the roof tiling industry, these awards are part of Steadfast Roofing's programme of professional accreditation and staff training.
Tim Kyle, Steadfast Roofing's Quality, Health & Safety manager, says, "Meeting the requirements of the BSI health and safety accreditation was the best way to ensure that our procedures comply with an externally approved standard of excellence. Our aim is to provide our customers with high quality roofing and staff with a safe working environment."
Steadfast Roofing is a contractor for major British building firms, such as Barratt, Bovis, Redrow, Westleigh, Taylor Wimpey, Bellway, and Persimmons Homes, as well as regional house builders and contractors. Since it was established in 1987, it has grown from a small business run from the family home to one of the countries top roof tiling and slating contractors with a group turnover approaching £10 Million.
The companies next goals are to achieve CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) registration for all staff and operatives, and to develop its environmental management procedures. This commitment to health, safety and quality, and an on going emphasis on training and development is what distinguishes Steadfast Roofing from other British roofing companies.

Health and Safety Accreditation - OHSAS 18001: 1999.
Health and Safety is of paramount importance in the building trade, but to our knowledge we are the only roofing contractor working toward accreditation to the Occupational Health and Safety Assessment Series Standard, OHSAS 18001.
We have combined our Health and Safety procedures with our ISO 9001 Quality procedures to provide an integrated management system, and we look forward to achieving full accreditation in early 2007.
This will mean that all Steadfast Roofing’s Health, Safety, and Quality procedures officially comply with the appropriate external standards of excellence.

Colin Ridgway appointed as Managing Director of Steadfast Roofing Ltd. Colin has been with the company for 22 years.

Another first for Steadfast: in partnership with Forticrete Rooftiles, Steadfast Roofing has installed the first commercial roof using the brand new tile design SL8 on a development in Bedfordshire.
Celebrating 30 years. We are very proud of all our staff in the contribution they have made in helping Steadfast Roofing Ltd achieve this milestone. Long time Redland customer Steadfast Roofing was the first organisation to try and install the new Redland Innofix clip on site. Steadfast Roofing commented in the RCI magazine Feb 2016. Our installation teams thought Innofix a good solution to the issue of mechanical fixing. Innofix is a well thought out design and we are now using the system on a daily basis.

We would like to take the opportunity to pay tribute to Raymond "Bruv" Childs who passed away on 19th February 2019 and had his funeral today. For many years Raymond worked for Steadfast Roofing, he was well liked and respected by all. Our thoughts are with his family at this sad time - may he now rest in peace.

Bedford trio dance their way to World Cup in Portugal
Steadfast Roofing Limited are proud to support young businesses, such as Elev8 Studios Dance Academy.
Dancers from Bedford will be representing England at the Dance World Cup in Portugal this week, competing against teams from 65 other countries.
The annual event is the largest dance competition in the world and will take place in Braga, Portugal between 28 June and 6 July.
In recognition of their achievement, Steadfast Roofing Limited have supported and provided premises for these young dancers as well as sponsorship, helping to get them get to Portugal.
